Frequently Asked Questions: General FAQS

How much do your invitations cost?

Please see our Invitations Price List which is located on each detail page of each Invitation design we offer. All Prices subject to change without notice.

How many pieces should I order?

Please consider the quantities of invitations and thank you note cards carefully before you place your order. Based on our experience, you will undoubtedly need more invitations than you think! Please note that it is significantly LESS expensive to order additional invitations and thank you note cards at the beginning of the ordering process rather than to add additional pieces to your order as add-ons at the end of the process. Once we receive approval of your proof we send your order to be printed. Quantities MUST be firm BEFORE proof approval is given. Invitation re-prints take an additional 1-2 weeks to process, thus delaying the mailing of your invitations. Please consider with care. Contact the studio for re-print pricing.

Are the colors of the artwork I am viewing on my monitor true to the original paintings?

Our images reproduce the colors of our original artwork as closely as possible. Great care is taken to match the color saturation, intensity and contrast of the originals. However, due to the many computer configurations available today, variations in color accuracy are likely. Colors often look different on different monitors. Ordering a sample of the invitation design(s) you are considering is a terrific way to see the colors, accurately represented.

What is the minimum order of invitations required?

Minimum Order of 50 Invitations per order is required. Invitations and coordinating pieces may only be purchased in increments of 25.

Our Invitation Collection Options are specially priced when offered as "Sets". Any changes to a predefined Set will result in a la carte per piece pricing instead of the set option price.

How fast will I receive my invitations?

Our typical turnaround time for production of our products is approximately 3 weeks. We charge a $150 RUSH FEE for all Invitation Orders requiring a turnaround time of 2 weeks or less. Please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate your rush order and we advise you speak with us directly before placing your order. Please plan accordingly and allow additional time for custom orders.

Information about Ink Colors and Ink Type:

Most of our invitation designs feature two standard ink colors per design. We suggest you order a sample invitation of any design(s) you are considering so that you can accurately see the ink colors on each design. The ink colors featured on each invitation are standard, at no additional charge to you. Each ink color has been specifically chosen to coordinate best with our invitation designs. The ink is printed flat, directly onto our fine art paper...we do not offer thermo graphed (raised) printing. If you would like customized ink colors, in up to two colors, (other than standard) we would be happy to accommodate. We charge a $25 ink color customization fee to cover our additional graphic arts time for custom ink color customization.

We plant a tree for every Invitation order we receive

Since we are a fine art studio specializing in paper products such as Bar and Bat Mitzvah Invitations, we wanted to find a creative way to give back that would directly reduce our studio's impact on the environment. This unique partnership allows us to make a contribution to the Arbor Day Foundation's Reforestation program for every eligible sale we receive.

For every eligible Invitation order we receive through our studio, Shell Artistree will contribute $1 to the Arbor Day Foundation's Reforestation Program, allowing one tree to be planted in a damaged forest.

We take our responsibility to the earth seriously and look forward to aiding in the replanting of many of our nations forests which have been devastated by droughts and fires. We are thrilled to be a part of this earth and soul friendly program and hope that our clients will feel great purchasing from our studio, knowing that we're all doing our part to keep our world healthy and green.
